Self Compassion

Last Friday we, baccalaureate students, were lucky to participate in a talk dealing with self-compassion. Goldie Nanwani, author of the book "Thoughts translated" , explained to us a bit about self-compassion while making us think: why do we treat ourselves differently? 


Don't we deserve to be forgiven when making errors? She made us reflect on quotidian acts we do without even thinking, as for example giving up a seat in the bus, and we ended up realizing the importance of being kind to and understanding oneself... The final goal of the talk also was giving us some tips to understand and use self-compassion in our lives.
